How to Be A Hot Teen Actor

Lots of hot teen actors start out small, before they get big breaks in big TV shows or films. The most popular company that sets huge steeping stones for teen actors is Disney. Most child and teen actors who came from Disney have or had great careers.

1. Practice your acting skills. You do not necessarily have to take acting workshops but it would be great if you do.

2. Take care of yourself physically. It is undeniable that good looks seems to be a plus factor to become as famous Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez. It's just the way the business goes, but it doesn't mean we encourage you to become a narcissist or lose focus on acting. Just fix your hair and put make-up here and there!

3. Attend casting calls and auditions to build your resume. In the show business, experience is highly valued. So as much as you would love to be a star, you need to prove to them that you have the chops.

4. Discover who you really are. A lot of teen actors today get lost in the limelight. The entertainment world is a shark tank, there will be lots of people who will try to bring you down or lead you astray. To get past that, you have to have strong values and principles in life.

5. Value professionalism. This is very important because you will be working alongside busy people who take their jobs seriously - least you could do is to take yours seriously as well.

It's not all about the glitz and glamour. Being a hot teen actor takes a whole lot of dedication and hardwork on your part. But no matter how hard it may seem at first, your hardwork will be rewarded in the end.

Sexy Female Models - Nudity in High Fashion Modeling

Sometimes majority of our population can't help but objectify sexy female models. Even celebrities - take for example, Megan Fox, who criticized Transformers director for the way he filmed her (as if she were a piece of meat). Most of the time, this "objectification" really stems from the way a model is shot. Even people in high fashion turn to "sex symbolism" to sell a product or attract an audience - that's when nudity comes.

When a model has to go naked for a shoot, what must one do?

1. First and foremost, before you get booked for a job, you will be informed if nudity is needed for that particular shoot. This is to give you the choice to accept the job or not. If you are not comfortable with nudity, then the best thing to do would be to pass.

2. If you did agree for a nude photoshoot for the first time, you have to know ask if the photoshoot requires only partial nudity or full. You have to ask for every single detail, like, would it be a full-frontal nudity shoot or not. This way, you can be mentally prepared for what you are about to do.

3. Never let anyone take advantage of you. Just because it is a nude photoshoot, doesn't mean anyone can take sexual advances on you. Hundreds of models have fallen prey to photographers who had a disrespectful approach to nude photoshoots.

4. Remember, it is a HIGH FASHION shoot. Take note of your poses and facial expressions. Yes, you are a sexy female model who is naked in front of a camera but there's a difference in High Fashion shoots and Glamour shoots, even when there's nudity involved.

Preteen - Hot Preteen Models

Preteen years are very exciting - you are somewhere in between childhood and adolescence and makes you wonder what you will be when you become an adult. Many preteens think of becoming a model. They think it is a hot and great-paying job. But here are some realities about preteen modeling or modeling in general.

1. If you become a preteen model, there is no guarantee you will forever be a model.

2. It's not all about being a hot preteen. You have to have camera presence. Many beautiful people never succeed in modeling because they show no depth or emotion in photos.

3. You have to be skilled at posing and must understand body your own language.

4. There's a good chance you will trail behind in school matters.

5. You must have an alternative choice of career in case modeling doesn't work out for you.

6. It's not all about the glamour. You have to be tough, physically and emotionally. When you don't do a great job, people will yell at you but you shouldn't take it personally.

7. There will be lots of people who might take advantage of you so you must be careful and stick to the people who love you.

8. You must learn how to connect and build friendships with people. Modeling is about "knowing someone who knows someone" and networking.

9.You have to have confidence. People will be criticizing you a lot - you just have to do your thing and don't mind other people.

10. You have to be diligent and dedicated. Most of the time, call time for models are very early, so you have to get up early and always be polite no matter how tired you are.

Being a preteen in the world of modeling can be very exciting. It can serve as a playground - a place for you to explore as well as develop your skills but without a family behind you or values and beliefs that you stand for, you can get lost in it and never be the same person again. So if you decide to take on preteen modeling or have a modeling career when you become an adult, always remember that only the toughest remain standing.

Famous Actors and Actresses and Their Stalkers

Famous actors and actresses are always surrounded by lights, cameras, handlers, fans as well as stalkers.

Stalkers are usually those unhealthily obsessed with a certain celebrity, often to the point of being delusional. Here are a couple of celebrities who have been stalked by overly devoted fans.

1. Jennifer Aniston

A man named Jayson Peyton was arrested for trying to break in Jennifer Aniston's home as well as stalking her outside places that she usually frequents, while carrying a bag full of scissors, ice picks and other sharp objects as well as rolls of duct tape.

2. Halle Berry

Halle Berry is best known for her roles in Monster's Ball, X-Men and Catwoman. She was once terrorized by a certain Richard Franco who tried to break in Halle Berry's home, three times.

3. Keira Knightley

Keira thought she escaped her 5 American stalkers by going back to live in the U.K., but she was wrong. Recently a man has been arrested for following her, stalking her and waiting for her to come out of the Comedy Theater in London's West End after her show.

4. Justin Timberlake

A certain Karen McNeil was given a restraining order so she will stay away from former N'sync singer, Justin Timberlake. This woman believed she was destined to marry Justin so much that she tried to trespass Justin's L.A. home recently.

It can be difficult to be spending your life in the public eye - the price of fame is to never have privacy and to have creepy stalkers. However, famous actors and actresses still try to protect whatever right to privacy they have left.

Bikini Model Exercises - Have That Bikini Model Body!

There are quite a few differences between bikini modeling and high-fashion modeling. A bikini model typically has a sort of muscular body. They look strong and healthy with more curves. On the other hand, high-fashion models are thin like a walking stick and have torsos like that of a young boy's (no offense).

Although, there are some things fitness/ swimsuit models and high-fashion models (and celebrities) share. And those are the exercises they love doing.

1. Yoga
This is probably the most popular exercise among models and Hollywood stars. It originated in ancient India and is now considered a chic way to lose weight, where it focuses on posture and spiritual and physical balance.

Celebs/ Models who do Yoga: Heidi Klum, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Ellen Pompeo, Gisele Bundchen, and the list goes on and on...

2. Pilates
A lot of models love Pilates and even combine it with Yoga. These two disciplines help burn fat even hours after doing the exercise. It also promotes proper posture, core strength and gives you longer and leaner muscles.

Celebs/ Models who do Pilates: Reese Witherspoon, Megan Fox, Jamie Lee Curtis, Madonna, Cameron Diaz, etc.

3. Running
Running is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors instead of the four corners of a gym. It is also the perfect over-all exercise that gives you a bikini model toned body. This exercise is excellent in keeping your heart healthy as well.

Celebs/ Models who Run: Fergie, Katie Holmes, Kim Kardashian, Adriana Lima, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Oprah.

These are the 3 most common exercises that can help you achieve a bikini model figure. Not all these exercises will guarantee you a rock-hard body but it will surely help you stay healthy.

Poor Commercial Models! - Watch Banned TV Ads Here

Commercial models know that getting booked in a TV ad is not an easy thing to be achieved - it takes a lot of hardwork and hundreds of auditions, casting calls and call backs to actually land one.

And not every TV commercial will always be considered "airable". Despite the hilarity or the creativity put into a commercial ad, there are still guidelines to follow, which is the reason some TV ads get banned. And why some TV ad models don't get their desired exposure.

Here are some banned TV commercials as an example:

1. THIRSTY BABY WANTS A DRINK

In this video, a woman is struggling to push her baby out while in labor. Look at what the doctor did to lure the baby out of the womb:

Although this commercial is really funny, somehow it struck as degrading to some people. These commercial models did get some exposure as the video went viral in social networking sites and Youtube after it was banned. We wish we could have had a glimpse of the baby, though.

2. NIKE COMMERCIAL

In the USA, violence (such as killings) in TV ads are not allowed to be shown. Apparently this kick-ass commercial was banned because of a small scene at the end part where a samurai gets crushed by an elevator.

Wondering how much these soccer players were paid for doing this commercial? You're not the only one.

3. DADDY IS DEAD

In this funny commercial, a doctor zaps a fly using a paddle (which is used to "electrify" patients back to life) just when the patient's daughter and wife arrives in the room.

If this happened to you, what would be your reaction?

4. BLONDE ORDERING A BURGER

A blonde girl enters a library, probably very hungry. Would you think beauty trumps brains after watching this?

Perhaps this Mercedes Benz commercial was banned because it was being racist (because of the blonde joke). Nevertheless, it is funny.

5. ADAM and EVE

This commercial depicts the Biblical place of Eden, where mankind had supposedly originated. Eve explores Eden then suddenly bumps into Adam. You would never guess Adam's reaction.

What a shame these commercial models never got to see themselves on TV. But perhaps the people who banned these ads only wanted what's best for the mass audience.

Child Actors Who Grew Up to Be Major Movie Stars - Harry Potter, Frodo Baggins, Etc

Unlike some child actors who disappear after hitting puberty, there are those few who beat the pressures of child stardom and grew up to be great actors.

1. Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore starred in the 1982 film, E.T. During her early teens, her supposedly skyrocketing career took a plunge as she fell into drug and alcohol addiction. However, she came back with a bang with the Charlie's Angels re-make in 2000. Since then, she has been in blockbuster movies as well as producing movies.

2. Elijah Wood

At the age of 13, Elijah Wood has been a part of critically-acclaimed films like Forever Young and Paradise.  For a couple of years, Wood has kept low-profile but continued to prove that he still has the acting chops in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, playing as the Hobbit, Frodo Baggins.

3. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint

It's not too early to tell that the 3 actors who played the Harry Potter franchise's principal characters will become one of the biggest names in the entertainment world, especially with the large fanbase that they have.

Daniel Radcliffe, is reportedly the richest actor of his age in the U.K. according to People Magazine. He is currently the principal actor for the re-make of the Broadway show How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Emma Watson and Rupert Grint also have movie roles lining up for them. The three actors have only recently been seen in the redcarpet premiere of the last Harry Potter movie, where thousands of fans camped out days before the premiere night.

4. Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning's most remarkable role was playing the daughter of Sean Penn in I Am Sam. Critically acclaimed for her acting skills, Dakota has made several films during her childhood. Today, she plays evil vampire Jane in the Twilight Saga.

Being a famous child actor doesn't guarantee you will become an A-List celebrity in the future. In order to stay in the show business, you have to work constantly and have to love your craft. And these former child actors, definitely beat the odds to becoming major adult movie stars.

Parenting A Teen Model - How to Help Her Develop Positive Body Image

There could be millions of things that make parenting a teen model  can be difficult, one of them could be the problem of poor body image of their child. Children or teenagers these days are exposed to all sorts of media. With the internet and cable TV, the influences that young people have these days - bulimic actresses and anorexic models - may affect the way he or she perceives herself and her body. Especially for a teen model who is exposed to a weight-obsessed industry.

So what can a parent do to promote positive body image on their teen model?

1. Set an example. Parents will always be the role models of their children, no matter what. So practice a positive outlook on your body, too, start by not being so obsessed with your waistline!

2. When you see your teen model gazing at her reflection for too long, as if inwardly contemplating her imperfections, stop her. Limit mirror-time in your home.

3. Always speak out the positive things you see about other people, yourself and your child. Instead of commenting on how big your neighbor's butt is, comment on the good things about his/her appearance instead, like "she has beautiful, full lips" or "I like the way Jane wears her hair."

4. Watch TV with him/ her. It will give you an idea of his/ her influences. That way, you will have an idea where his insecurities may come from.

5. Discuss how the media sometimes make a bigger deal of things even though they are not. Tell her about the things that media do that make the bodies in magazines unrealistic. Better yet, show him/ her un-photoshopped pictures of Britney Spears (You can find hundreds of them on the internet). That will get your point across.

Parenting a teen model can be very challenging. You have to have patience as well communicate well to your child so that he or she may have a more positive body image.
